BASIC FIRST AID
This program was created to help attendees develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. This program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.
This program is designed for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers, but desire or are required to be certified in basic emergency medical care.
RECOGNIZED CERTIFICATION PERIOD
Certification is valid for up to 2 years
This program requires 2 1/2 to 3 hours for initial training, and less time for renewal training. Certification requires successful completion of a hands-on performance evaluation.
