Our Bloodborne Pathogen program includes information that helps our students understand what bloodborne pathogens are, and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. This program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030.
This program is for our blended learning program. With blended learning, students will complete a large portion of the class online at your leisure, and will perfrom the hands-on skills assessment with an instructor. Students will receive a digital course book and a paper certification card with the successful completion of this course. This method allows you greater flexibility in how you may receive your certification.
Any individual or employee who has a reasonable anticipation of contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials as a result of performing designated job duties.
RECOGNIZED CERTIFICATION PERIOD
Certification is valid for up to 1 year
Initial training requires 1 hour, but it should be noted that successful completion is based on achievement of the core learning objectives, rather than a prescribed instruction time
